	Description
	The SV6110AM is specifically designed for voltage regulation in alternator charging systems, as commonly found in automotive applications. The SV6110AM provides a regulated voltage feedback system to monitor and compare the system battery voltage to an externally programmed set point value and generate PWM waveform to drive external N–channel MOSFET to control the average alternator field current in response to system load current. The SV6110AM provides Initial Soft Start and Load Response Control (LRC) functions to eliminate engine torque decrement due to sudden loads transition at low RPM. LRC rates 5 and 10 seconds are provided.
